## Quick answer

Contact the City Department of Parks and Recreation's Therapeutic Recreation Unit before you visit.

## Detailed answer

The City lists a beach wheelchair and an access mat near the bathhouse at Kailua Beach Park, but reported both as unavailable as of August 20, 2025. Ask the Therapeutic Recreation Unit whether they are back in service before you go. The City's online beach access map shows mats, wheelchairs and lifeguard towers around Oʻahu.
